4-Ingredient Hot Chocolate

Unlike traditional hot chocolate recipes that rely on processed ingredients and refined sugars, this recipe uses wholefood antioxidant-rich ingredients such as cacao and carob. INGREDIENTS:
4 cups (1 L) coconut milk or milk of choice
1 tbsp (15g) cacao powder
1 tbsp (15g) carob powder (optional)
1 tbsp (15g) coconut sugar or a pinch of stevia
METHOD:
Place all ingredients into a small pot and stir until combined.
Simmer over medium heat.
Allow to cool and serve in mugs.
Top with grated chocolate (optional).
STORING LEFTOVERS:
Store covered in the fridge for up to 2 days or freeze in popsicle moulds for up to 4 months.

Swap coconut milk for cow’s, oat, almond or soy milk.
Swap carob for additional cacao.

Add 1 tsp of kid-friendly chocolate protein powder.
